Sarah Worley, MSc MBPsS

I have over ten years' experience in the field of psychology, mental health and wellbeing, helping people through the transformational process as they learn to love themselves and the lives they are daring to live!

Prior to launching my private coaching practice, I worked extensively with students (including mature and post-graduate students) over the last five years as Wellbeing Officer for Arts University Bournemouth and as the manager of the NHS led Student Wellbeing service at Bournemouth University. This involved helping students at all ends of the spectrum, from those experiencing severe mental health difficulties and crisis to those wanting to get the most out of their work and learn skills to focus, prioritise, break through creative blocks and perfectionism and manage anxiety.

I have a great deal of experience developing and delivering self-development workshops, covering topics such as mindfulness, anxiety, time management, productivity and stress management.

Prior to my work with students, I spent over five years working for Solent Mind, helping adults with severe mental health conditions on their path towards recovery. I have also worked with victims of crime and sexual assault in my role as Victim Care Officer for Victim Support and with elderly and disabled adults at The Royal Star and Garter Home for Disabled Ex-Servicemen and Women.

I have carried out research in the field of Health Psychology at the University of Southampton and am a qualified Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator. WRAP is an approach that helps people to take control and develop their own self-management plan for their mental health – you can visit my profile and find out more here.
